Characters

A brief introduction to a few of the dynamic original characters fighting for supremacy within the world of Enders Gate.

Xen-Zoh

Race - Ascended (Human)

Stats - 5'11 tall, 26 years old

Skillset- Assassin, Dagger proficient, stealth, Future sight capable of viewing his opponent's next ability and counter it with a backstab causing bleed for 2 turns.

Back story: Joined the military under Eross to pay off the debt owed by his father. His first battle was with an alien race that was not prepared for war allowing Xen to gain the confidence he now has to slaughter his opponents without remorse.

Judge Red

Race - Sentinel

Stats - 7'10 tall, 546 years old

Skillset - Tank, Void energy proficient, Gifted with eyes of the sentinel which allow him to disintegrate foes too weak to resist them. (Execute foes under 20% health)

Back story: Second in command for the Sentinels, a race of god-like beings who feel it's their duty to cast judgment on the weak. Judge Red uses his abilities to ensure his reign of power will never end. With each soul he takes from the plain of existence, he becomes stronger.

Luna

Race: Human

Stats - 5'5 tall, 22 years old

Skillset - Mage, Thunder Energy Expert, Chain lightning dealing 5 attack as AOE to all enemies on the field. Passive: Deal 10 extra damage to Ogres/Brutes.

Backstory: Born and raised within the bustling village of Bromwich, located on the outskirts of Aramore, Luna and her 8 siblings only knew of the life within the walls that surrounded her village. A week after Luna's 6th birthday, a group of Ogres stormed the village slaughtering countless souls and devouring their corpses. Luna survived this attack through the help of her older brother, Eclipso, who frantically grabbed her, sprinted to safety, and hid consoling her until the attack ended. Luna swore to avenge her fallen family and village that day. Fueled by anger, she grew up cold and distant learning magic once forbidden by her people to slaughter foes in her path one by one.

Kraken

Race: Cephalo

Stats - 6'0 tall, age is unknown

Skillset - Hybrid (support/tank), Water Prison, Select one enemy champion. They cannot declare an attack for one turn. Once freed they cannot be selected again.

Backstory: Kraken is a part of an elusive group of intelligent aquatic creatures that have evolved from cephalopods. They call themselves "Cephalo", paying homage to their 8 limbed ancestors. Little is known about the Cephalos, however, they have the ability to shape-shift, seemingly becoming whomever they've laid eyes on. Cephalos are also known to be docile, however, when threatened, will attack at will.

Henry

Race: Human

Stats - 6'1 tall, 27 years old

Skillset - Tank (Battle-Mage), Earth Wall, Passive: 25% chance to block the next attack. On successful block; reset effect after 2 turns.

Backstory: Born into a military-focused family, Henry grew up fearless gaining confidence from his elders. He took up boxing at the age of 10 and quickly accelerated. At the age of 15, his family enrolled him in a school dedicated to teaching students the art of self-defense using Earth Energy. It was there where Henry met the 16-year-old vagabond by the name of Eclipso. The two grew close friends. Henry focused on school and gained the ability to harness the power of Earth manipulation, while Eclispso focused on sneaking out of school to secure resources he and his sister Luna, needed for survival. Henry, now 27 and experienced in war, accepts jobs to escort merchants along trade routes.

Eclipso

Race: Human

Stats - 5'10 tall, 28 years old

Skillset - Rouge, trickster, Passive: Attacks have a 10% chance of stealing 50 gold from your opponent adding it to your inventory.

Backstory: Born and raised in Bromwich, Eclipso values his past experiences. After saving his sister, Luna, from the Ogre invasion, he and his sister escaped to the city of Aramore. Eclipso spent his early teen years raising his sister and sneaking around the city of Aramore to steal supplies the two needed for survival. Eclipso eventually took his sister's advice and enrolled in the school of Earth Magic. He didn't take his studies seriously, however, oftentimes sneaking out of class and getting into trouble around the city. Through his continued disregard for school, he picked up several skills he felt would come in handy, the ability to create smoke bombs and clones made of earth magic to name a few.

Lhavi - The Fire Golem

Race - Golem

Stats - 300 feet (91 meters) tall, 12,450 years old.

Skillset - Tank, Volcanic Activity, Active: Once per turn, deal 10 Fire Damage to all Earth-type Champions. Passive: Deal 5 Damage back to enemies who successfully attack Lhavi.

Backstory: Lhavi rests dormant stationed in the center of Zhil-Ridge, a dangerous region that currently has a massive travel ban placed by the king and enforced by the military. Lhavi is known to wake up during every great eclipse in a frenzy, attacking everything and anything in his path. His origin is rumored to be the result of an accident caused by an Alchemist who performed a dangerous experiment. Zhil-Ridge is known to be the home of many other dangerous creatures who came through the great gate and are now stranded.
